Description
Lot #1368 - This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is customized using modern components, such as Art Morrison front and rear coilover suspension, 6-piston Wilwood disc brakes, 19” and 20” Billet Specialties stiletto wheels and red line Michelin pilot tires. Driving this Camaro is a 635hp GM performance LSX 454ci engine with Harrop fuel injection mated to a TR56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. Under-hood details include custom air filter sections that draw air from the external chrome hood vents, electric power brake booster, custom valve covers, a smoothed over firewall and custom radiator core support cover. The exhaust flows through a set of fully-polished stainless headers, hi-flow catalytic converter, electric exhaust cutouts and Borla mufflers. The body of this Chevy is straight and painted in Sikkens Mercedes Black, polished and ceramic-coated. The exterior also features a custom front roll pan and rear roll pan modified for exhaust tips. It sports Kindig-It smooth door handles and a paint-matched Flat Out spoiler. It has flush-mounted front and rear glass with chrome surrounds. The front and rear bumpers have been shaved of hardware and tightened to the body with triple-plated chrome provided. The interior is done entirely in Rosso Red leather and has many aluminum details throughout, including the trunk. The interior also features a Kicker IQS audio system, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital HDX gauges, power windows, tilt steering column and a Billet Specialties steering wheel. This Camaro was built on “Bitchin’ Rides” season 3, episode 11: “Anyone Know Where I Can Find a Bitchin’ Ride?”
