Lot #841 - This 1965 GTO custom convertible, nicknamed “Sugar Shack,” debuted at SEMA on Meguiar's Car Crazy stage featuring a professionally built and engineered chassis, 14" 6-piston Baer brakes with slotted rotors and RideTech adjustable coilovers on all four corners. It is powered by a Butler Performance 467ci big-block V8 engine with a custom, functional Shaker hood scoop, mated to a Keisler Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, Winters rear end with 3:67 gears and posi-traction. This custom convertible rides on 18x8” front and 20x15” rear Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in Mickey Thomson tires. It comes equipped with double ceramic-coated headers and 3” exhaust. The body lines and gaps are meticulously fitted with extensive body modifications, including custom door handles from Kindig-It Design and tucked bumpers. The leather interior features a Clayton Machine pedal assembly, power windows, locks and emergency brake, Vintage Air heating and cooling system, custom one-off Classic Instruments gauges and a powerful stereo with satellite radio and MP3 adaptor. This GTO also features a leather-finished trunk, power convertible top, and power brakes and steering.
