This car was inducted into the Bloomington Gold Special Collection in 1990 and earned Bloomington Gold Certification in both 1990 and 1992, at which time it was also awarded Survivor Certification. In 1993 it won both National NCRS Top Flight honors with a 99.1 score, and the NCRS Duntov Award of Excellence. This car was judged by NCRS a total of four times with the highest score being a 99.3. The prestigious Chevy Vettefest Triple Crown was added to the car’s laurels in 2002, when it again received Bloomington Gold Certification, followed by Survivor and Benchmark Certification as well.
