Lot #807 - This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible is finished in Tropical Turquoise paint with white and turquoise trim. It sold new in South Dakota and is powered by its rebuilt original 283ci V8 engine mated to a Powerglide automatic transmission. It has power steering and power-assist brakes, and its original wheels, hubcaps and fender skirts. The car was purchased completely disassembled and ready for its body-off restoration in 2001. It has less than 200 miles since its completion. Since then it’s been trailered to shows and parades and has won many trophies and awards, many of which are included. This award-winning Bel Air has always been covered and garaged since its completion.
