Lot #566.1 - This T-Bird is highly optioned and restored to Vintage Thunderbird Club International standards. The exterior sports Silver Mink paint complemented by a black interior with a black convertible top and leather seat trim. It is equipped with a safety convenience control panel, power windows with power vent windows, reclining passenger seat with headrest, driver and passenger power seats, power door locks, highway pilot control (cruise control) and a unique steering wheel. Powered by a 390ci 8-cylinder engine with a 3-speed automatic transmission. It also has Selectaire air conditioning, AM radio, StereoSonic tape system, retracting power antenna, tinted glass, deluxe wheel covers and rear fender skirts. This was the last year of the "Flair Bird" and last year for the convertible. This Ford was awarded with the Antique Automobile Club of America First Junior Award and many other show awards. It includes the original Ford Motor Company gate release that authenticates this highly optioned “Flair Bird.”
