Lot #157 - This 1957 Chevy Bel Air 2-door post has been done from bumper to bumper, with a frame-off restoration. This car is powered by a high-performance 383ci V8 engine with aluminum heads, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and MSD ignition and wires. It’s also equipped with a heavy-duty radiator with Evans permanent gel coolant. Shifting the gears is a Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission with a heavy-duty clutch with a scatter shield. This Bel Air is also equipped with a heavy-duty driveline, Dana 60 rear end with 3.73 posi-traction differential, heavy-duty shocks, heavy-duty leaf springs and heavy-duty brakes. The interior was also redone during the restoration with new door panels, handles, armrests, carpet and leather upholstery, along with all the weatherstripping and windows. All the chrome was refinished or replaced. The car has always been stored in a climate-control garage and it includes a binder of documentation and history.
