Lot #688 - This 1968 Charger R/T coupe had a scheduled production date of Wednesday, December 20, 1967, at the Hamtramck, MI, plant. Originally this car was a 440 magnum and has since had a massive transplant to the 426ci HEMI engine that powers it today. It has a 4-speed manual transmission with pistol grip, Tic-Toc-Tach, 3-speed wiper motor, Strange axles with 3:73 gears, black vinyl interior with bucket seats, power brakes, AM Music Master radio and hood-mounted turn-signal indicator lights. It is finished in gorgeous black paint accented with silver R/T tail stripe and rides on period-correct wheels. It has been driven approximately 500 miles since its meticulous restoration was completed.
