Description
Lot #727 - Born as a San Jose 390-4V fastback with 4-speed manual transmission, this rust-free, uncut California car underwent a total transformation. Media-blasted to bare metal, the Highland Green paint is accented only by subtle billet amenities and professionally restored bright trim. The engine is a professionally built Genesis big-block 427ci side-oiler. The 427 was stroked to 482ci and given an Edelbrock all aluminum top-end kit, MSD ignition system and MSD Atomic fuel injection with completely programmable hand-held plug-in unit. 4-wheel Wilwood brakes provide stopping power. This Mustang is also equipped with TCP suspension and coilovers at each wheel, sub-frame connectors, 3-link 9" Currie rear end, electric power-assisted steering, Vintage Air, custom ceramic long headers, full MagnaFlow exhaust, tinted windows, all-new wiring, carpet, upholstery and Dynamat insulation throughout, Ididit tilt column, big Griffin aluminum radiator, two programmable electric fans, TCP manual rack & pinion steering, and a TMI custom trunk insert. A stock-appearing modern stereo is boosted by a Kenwood amp mounted in the fully customized trunk interior. All LED lights and Auto Meter Phantom gauges finish out the sleek interior. A Ford Toploader 4-speed manual transmission was professionally rebuilt with Hurst shifter. With just under 100 test miles, it is ready for the road.
