Lot #961 - This Mustang is an example of a well-preserved original. Built at the Metuchen, NJ, plant, it comes with the original 200ci inline-6 engine coupled with Cruise-O-Matic transmission. It was purchased new by a fastidious individual who remained the car’s sole proprietor until recently. It was used sparingly and has just 7,075 original miles (mileage not indicated on registration). Its Super Diamond Lustre Enamel exterior paint in Frost Turquoise still presents in its original beauty, as do its 14” deluxe wheel covers. The black vinyl interior shows few signs of wear. Included with this time-capsule Mustang is the original owner’s manual detailing the original selling dealer, original owner’s name and address, and the original date of sale.
