Description
Lot #489 - This custom pickup, nicknamed "Shot Gun Betty," has a total of 15 guns (disabled) placed inside or on her, and features 145 gun shells (not live ammo) placed all throughout the truck. The cab and chassis started life as a 1949 Ford F6 that was professionally cut and lowered. The box has been built out of distressed wood, and features a row of barbed wire around the top. All of the details on the outside of this truck scream attention. The interior is just as one would expect from a rat rod; it's not comfortable and it's not quiet. The floors have been overlaid with copper, and the patina on the inside is awesome. The heart of the beast features a late '70s GM 454ci engine with aluminum heads, 950 Holley Dominator carb, a wild cam, gear drive, and headers with cutouts. This power house is mated to a strong-shifting GM Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The truck has power brakes, an aluminum radiator with electric fan, and a train air horn with onboard compressor.
