Description
Lot #1077 - This rare 1967 Goodwood Green Corvette convertible was built on January 20, 1967, and was purchased new from Harp Chevrolet Inc. in Staunton, VA, in January 1967. It was owned by the second owner for 37 years, from April 1968 to April 2005. It received a total restoration in 2008. This Corvette has a gorgeous body and has a completely rust-free frame. The matching-numbers drivetrain is completely original with its high-performance 427/435hp big-block engine, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and 4.11 posi-traction rear end. Over the years, this car has been carefully maintained in its as-original condition, with the only additions being a matching painted auxiliary hardtop, new PPG Goodwood Green lacquer paint and new carpet. It has its original black and white dash pads, seatbelts, seat covers, door panels and sun shades. The engine was rebuilt, balanced and dyno-tested. The no-hit body has all of its original bonding strips in place and a nice beltline. All gauges, lights and accessories are correct. It has T-3 headlamps, Trico wiper arms with new blades, and a correct jack and jack handle. This well-optioned 'Vette features a Soft Ray tinted windshield, auxiliary painted hardtop, special heavy-duty suspension, transistor ignition, off-road exhaust system, AM/FM radio and rides on original whitewall sidewall non-DOT tires.
