Lot #517.1 - This iconic 1967 Camaro 396 big block with RS upgrades has been professionally rotisserie restored and is presented in show-quality Tahoe Turquoise paint to match its Cowl Tag paint code and is finished with new chrome and new smoke glass. On the inside it has new black factory-correct standard interior finished in leather and a sport grip steering wheel. It is complete with new instrumentation and a factory console with full gauges and a Retro Sound audio system. It is powered by a period-correct Chevy V8 big block 396ci engine along with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, Edlebrock intake, Holly carburetor, and HEI ignition. For reliability a Detroit Speed Rally Sport electronic head light upgrade and a Classic update wiring system were installed. A custom 2.5” exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers helps quiet the 396 V8. Putting the power to the ground is a GM 12 bolt posi-traction rear end with 355 gears with Hotchkis sport suspension springs and Fox shocks, which dropped the Camaro 2” in the front and 1.5” in the rear. To help stop this Camaro power front disc brakes with powder coated calipers and drilled and slotted 11.5 inch rotors were installed. All of this is riding on a set of original Rally wheels that were painted Tahoe Turquoise to match the body, as well as a set of BFGoodrich TA tires for that vintage look.
