Lot #254 - This Duster was purchased by its current owner in 2014 from a friend who had owned it since 1988. It was repainted in 1989 in base coat/clear coat in the very rare original Burnt Tan color. It was restored to stock in 2006 and the details were finished in 2014. This car has all its original panels and has had no rust ever. The trunk is still in its original paint. This car was painstakingly restored to the original Fender Tag specifications using the correct part numbers and casting numbers parts. The V24 hood stripe was added with the correct Organisol paint. It is powered by its rebuilt balanced and meticulously blueprinted 340ci engine, and only the best parts were used to recreate the performance of the legendary high-compression small block. The correct 727 automatic transmission has been professionally rebuilt, as has the Sure-Grip 8 3/4 3.23 rear end. The car even has a brand new accurate exhaust system with the chrome tips and runs and drives like a dream.
