Lot #428 - The current owner’s family purchased this car at Marv Tonkin Ford in 1968. The inherited pony got a ground-up restoration in 2005 which included adding ceramic coated headers to the 289ci engine, C4 3-speed automatic transmission, mirror stainless steel exhaust system, Crager rims and Firehawk white letter tires. The car also features an alarm system, CD player, AM/FM radio polished intake manifold, ceramic coated bracket springs in the engine compartment, Burgundy Wine Red paint, black vinyl top, and black interior. Work sheets and a complete written history of the restoration work come with the 1968 Mustang that has been driven 1,877 miles since 2005 (mileage not indicated on the title). It was a Portland Roadster Show Second Place winner in 2005 and 2006 and Third Place winner in 2013 and has many Cruise Inn wins.
