Description
Lot #767 - This pristine Chevelle SS 396/350hp is one of just 3,307 total Super Sport Convertibles produced in 1967 and has benefitted from a nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration done to show-quality standards with great attention to detail. Starting as a rare factory produced genuine 138-code Chevelle SS convertible it is finished in its desirable original factory colors of Bolero Red with black interior and a black power soft top. It is powered by a correct casting number and dated 396ci engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Options include power steering, power brakes, power top, blinker tachometer, AM radio, 12-bolt rear end, F41 suspension and Rally wheels. No expense was spared with the frame-off restoration and as many detailed correct-style parts as possible were used including T-3 headlights, dated plug wires, correct stamped GM hose's with tower clamps down to the bias-ply redline tires bringing this Chevelle as close to factory original condition as possible.
