Description
Lot #176 - A factory 390ci 4-speed car, the date codes match up to the car. This solid California car features all-original body panels, floors and trunk with no evidence of any body damage or rust repair. It’s optioned with power steering, power disc brakes and an 8-track stereo. The paint was refinished professionally about 11 years ago in its original color Rally Green. It’s been garaged since with limited miles. The 390ci engine and 4-speed manual transmission were rebuilt and still retain the very rare California A.I.R. equipment. It’s nicely detailed under the hood and the dual exhaust was upgraded with Flowmaster mufflers. Refinished in black cloth, the interior is in excellent condition with a crack-free dashboard. In excellent shape throughout, all of the glass, including the windshield, is original. This very solid car runs superb, is quite fast and very fun to drive. This is one of only 2,112 AMXs built with a 390ci big-block engine and 4-speed manual transmission in 1968. It also has the rarely optioned power disc brakes and power steering. The interior features factory fully reclining bucket seats. Riding on Cragar SS rims, this very solid and rust-free car retains all of its original floors and body panels. It also has a very clean undercarriage and custom exhaust - a very cool muscle car.
