Description
Lot #731 - The Starliner was only made for two years from 1960-61. This example has undergone a complete ground-up restoration on a very rare body style. It features all-new NOS gauges, clock and trim including the complete and correct wiring harness from front to back. Most everything on this car was replaced with NOS parts or new, correct parts, collected for years for this car before it was built. It’s powered by a completely rebuilt correct 390ci engine with Edelbrock heads, roller rockers, high-pressure-volume oil pump, Speed Pro pistons, Crane cam, Edelbrock intake and carburetor. The C6 automatic transmission was completely rebuilt. The interior was replaced with correct NOS materials including the headliner. Finished in new correct-color two-stage PPG Algiers Bronze paint, all the exterior trim is NOS or new replacement. Documentation includes a full album of over $40,000 in receipts. Only driven to car to events, this car is fun to drive and runs and drives great.
