Description
Lot #606 - This right-hand-drive Mini Clubman was imported from England. Powered by a 998cc engine with a 4-speed manual transmission, the car shifts fine, has good compression and runs well. The roof was replaced with a fiberglass unit. This alteration changed the roofline behind the front seats, making it more streamlined. The work was done early in the car's life in Norfolk, U.K., by Browne & Sons Ltd. Body strength was maintained by a crossmember added between the B-pillars on each side. Last year, the car was repainted with rust repairs, including new rocker panels, several patch panels and one floor pan. The clutch assembly, including master and slave cylinders, was replaced and the brakes were overhauled, replacing wheel cylinders as needed. The car has original drum brakes all around.
