Lot #164 - Featuring an air-cooled rear engine, the Corvair was way ahead of its time. This beautiful example of the Monza 900 convertible is powered by a 164/110hp turbo-air flat-6 engine with 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The suspension on the 900 models was improved with special leaf springs and softer coil springs for increased handling and ride. This Corvair is finished in the original Palomar Red paint with black vinyl interior, split bucket seats and white manual convertible top.
