Description
Lot #369 - This is an original documented 1969 Mach 1 Fastback; the Marti Report and original Build Sheet are included. With only one owner for the last 27 years, it retains its original pink slip-style title dating back to 1989. This solid San Jose, California-built Fastback was built January 16, 1969. It remained in California its entire life and still wears its original California Black Plates. Boasting its 47-year-old, factory-original Candy Apple exterior until 2016, it was fully restored. Pictures of it with its original paint are provided to illustrate the solid condition of the body at that time. It features a professionally built 351ci V8 engine and 4-speed Toploader manual transmission. It pushes 11.37:1 compression with KB pistons along with a heavy-duty police crank and rods. Equipped with Edelbrock Victor Jr. cylinder heads with Crower valve springs and roller rockers, it also has an Edelbrock Victor intake manifold with a fine-tuned Holley 800 cfm double-pumper carburetor. Other features include MSD distributor and ignition system with starter retard, Hooker headers with 2.5" exhaust and Flowmaster two-chamber mufflers, 9" 4.11 traction lock posi-traction rear end, front disc brakes and added Boss 429 badging.
