Description
Lot #760 - This very attractive Super 8 is powered by the valve-in-head 263ci straight 8-cylinder engine that produces 112hp. The engine had its origin in 1936 and was used by Buick for a few more years. It is mated to the optional Dynaflow transmission and, of course, is distinguished by its three iconic chrome VentiPorts on each side of the hood. With original red leather seats, power windows and top it is an exceptional example of elegant early 1950s Buick styling. The smooth-running engine is mated to a Dynaflow automatic transmission with very nice show detail and fresh rear seals. It's also equipped with power hydraulic windows, power hydraulic seat and power convertible Haartz top with glass rear window. Interior features include AM radio, clock, leather interior and plush carpets. It's finished in new professional base coat gray paint, all-new chrome and polished stainless-steel trim. New heater hoses were also installed. It also has new original-style material trunk lining. This gorgeous rust-free vehicle has solid rust-free floors, inner rockers and a super-nice black frame. It runs and drives smooth. 17,267 original miles. Four-time First Place winner of Senior Award of the Carolina Region AACA 2013. Trophies included.
