Lot #371 - With one original owner, this Shelby GT500 40th Anniversary Edition convertible is finished in triple black. In order to receive upgrades, it was sent to the Shelby facility in Las Vegas where it was badged and the visor was signed by Carroll Shelby (with documentation). While in Las Vegas, it also received a custom-fit Shelby-striped cover and the Shelby carbon-fiber package with added carbon-fiber accents was also added. It has a 3.4-liter Whipple supercharger, 800hp, 6-speed manual transmission and upgraded 60-lb injectors. Other features include adjustable competition upper control arm kit, aluminum drive shaft, 3-point frame rail and torque box brace. It also has a ball joint kit, heavy-duty Panhard bar brace, Bassani long-tube equal-length headers and a Bassani 3" after-cat system. Stopping is provided by an AP brake system with slotted and drilled discs. It rides on chrome 20" American Racing Shelby Razors wrapped in Pirelli tires. 4,800 actual miles.
