Description
Lot #442 - One of the stars of the 2003 SEMA show in Las Vegas, as well as the 2004 North American International Auto show in Detroit, the "Everest" was created by Prefix Corporation in Rochester Hills, MI. The truck was displayed in the Ford Motor Co exhibit and was awarded Best in Show for Outstanding Achievement in Design. This one-of-a-kind vehicle features a sophisticated design solution for truck-loving executives. All plastic elements of the truck's interior were completely replaced with precision-machined White Jasmine Corian (typically reserved for luxury kitchens and interiors), providing a very unique and luxurious effect. The Corian was matched with a white suede headliner, and extremely high-grade cream-white leather seats and interior accents from Seton Leather. Additions to the interior include a custom rear center console with integrated white briefcase and laptop bags (trimmed in the white leather and Corian), rear seat footrests and illuminated rear storage pockets. The exterior of the vehicle includes a lowered suspension with 22" Coddington wheels and performance tires, a custom front grille, retractable powered side steps and a custom weather-proof leather tonneau cover. Underneath the tonneau cover is custom storage for two golf bags. Additionally, the Everest truck features one-of-a-kind headlamps and tail-lamps custom designed and built by Prefix Corporation's lighting department. Accompanying the vehicle, is a framed display featuring the design award, photos and a copy of the Detroit Business News feature article about the vehicle. It has 314 actual miles. Automatic transmission.
