Lot #859 - This Y84 Special Edition WS6 black and gold "Smokey and the Bandit" car is the real deal. It's a total matching-numbers car. This also was the first year of 4-wheel disc brakes and the last OEM Pontiac Trans Am exhaust system in existence for this car. With a ground-up restoration, many NOS parts were used throughout when originals were not available, only the best after market and GM OER substitutes were used. This is a factory WS6 L78, 4-speed-manual-transmission car. It has a low production number with only 1,107 produced with this special edition package and Pontiac 400ci motor with 4-speed manual transmission. During restoration the engine, transmission, clutch and brakes received new paint. Decals were restored and rebuilt to new specs. It has PHS paperwork.
