Description
Lot #323 - The Volkswagen Thing, also known as the Type 181, was a 2-wheel drive, 4-door convertible, that was originally a military vehicle designed and used by the West German military. Called the "Kurierwagen" in West Germany, it was sold as "The Thing" in the United States in 1973 and 1974. This well-preserved example is finished in orange with a tan interior. It has less than 35,000 original miles and is in exceptional condition, both cosmetically and mechanically.
