Description
Lot #566 - This was a one-owner truck until 2010. It's documented with the original sales receipt and Window Sticker from Tempe, AZ. The original owner enjoyed the truck as a daily driver, and after about a decade, decided to embark on a no-expense-spared street-machine build from the ground up. The rear suspension was narrowed and beefed up with posi-traction, Mark Williams axles and heavy-duty rear cover. The cherry, damage- and rust-free body was show-quality painted in its original color red. The bed is very nicely detailed with huge tubs and a tonneau cover. It's powered by a 502ci crate engine from Watson Chevrolet. The top end was beefed up with rocker studs, girdles and roller rockers. It's also equipped with a BDS drive system, blower cam and Weiand 671 blower with two 750 cfm quick-fuel blower carbs. It has BDS linkage and all AN fittings throughout. It also has TH400 automatic transmission with TCI convertor and deep-sump finned aluminum B&M pan as well as a custom fully balanced driveshaft. It's also equipped with Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Everything is fully polished or chromed with amazing attention to detail throughout. The nicely accented interior features billet panel inserts, pedals and gauge panel with Auto Meter gauges. A 4-point roll bar was added for safety and is very cleanly done. Nicely optioned, it has air conditioning, power windows, tilt column, power steering and power disc brakes. An extremely nice driving truck, this comes with wheelie bars that bolt-on in minutes. It comes with a huge binder full of receipts and parts installation instructions. This truck was made to be driven on the street and runs on pump gas.
