Lot #409 - This custom ground-up build started with a real steel-body Model A pickup. The roof was chopped 3" giving it a sleek but subtle look. It's finished in show-quality paint and body in Deep Blue with extremely faint ghost flames. It exhibits amazing attention to detail with laser-straight panels. It features a TCI chassis with chromed 4-link front and back, adjustable coilovers in the rear with Ford 9" differential, dropped axle up front with rack & pinion steering. It's powered by a 305ci V8 with automatic transmission. Stopping is provided by power disc brakes with drums in back. The fuel tank was relocated from the cowl to underneath the bed with polished stainless filler neck. Custom interior is very comfortable with tilt steering and custom white-faced VDO gauges. A well-sorted street rod, this is fun to drive and show-ready.
