Lot #1069 - This car was always cared for and cherished by the four owners. The original owner went into the showroom floor at Van Camp Chevrolet in Milford, MI, in the summer of 1969. Options include 427/435hp, tri-power L89 aluminum head, one of 390 built, white soft-top, F-41 suspension, 3.70 posi-traction, power brakes, full transistor ignition, M 21 close-ratio 4-speed, tilt and telescopic, white stripe tires, AM/FM, saddle vinyl interior, 1-year only color Riverside Gold paint and the very rare N-14 exhaust option. It still has its original engine and drivetrain. The third owner, Al Wagner, was a GM Milford proving ground engineer who bought it in 1997 and only put 2,000 miles on it over the next 16 years or so. It has 45,000 original miles (not indicated on title), 100 miles since the frame-off restoration performed by Corvette. Hall of Fame inductee, Werner Meier at Masterworks in Michigan. Original interior with new carpet. Invited to the MCACN L89 display in Chicago 2014. Photo shoot and article in Corvette Magazine December 2014. Awards include NCRS Regional Top Flight, Bloomington Gold, MCACN Triple Diamond, all in 2015. On display at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY, for the summer of 2016.
