Description
Lot #1126.1 - This extremely rare Deluxe Woody Wagon has less than 26,000 original miles. This well-preserved car has been passed among collectors and has a known history dating back to 1962 in El Paso County, CO. Amazingly, this car retains its original wood from Henry Ford's Iron Mountain in Michigan. There have been minor repairs as needed and of course varnishing over the years. The steel body and floors are extremely solid and rust-free. It's powered by a 221ci Flathead V8 engine and 3-speed manual transmission. Quite a few years back this beauty received a show-quality repaint in Tuxedo Black and still looks stunning today. The chrome and brightwork were refinished as needed and look amazing. All three rows of original seats were recovered with correct materials and still retain the factory clip-in-style removable middle and rear seats. It's also optioned with the rare stainless steel spider-wheel covers wrapped in wide whitewall Firestone gum-dipped tires.
