Lot #1427 - Very Rare 1977 3.0L Porsche 930 Turbo Carrera with matching engine and transmission as per Certificate of Authenticity. Finished in iconic Porsche heritage Silbergrundiamant (ice green metallic). Interior black leather with full Green Tartan Dress Inserts, extremely desirable and rare in its original state. Electric sunroof, rear wipers, front headlight washer, Turbo Carrera badging and perhaps the most elegant whale tail design ever produced. Only 3 owners, the present owner, a medical doctor, has cared for the car for 30 years and always stored it in a climate controlled environment as evidenced by its immaculate condition. It has 106,000 actual kilometers (represented in kilometers on title) and was imported to the U.S. from Canada six years ago. The second owner, a former Porsche head mechanic, bought the car in 1978 and did a complete engine and turbo overhaul at 43,000 miles when it was purchased by the seller.
