Lot #653.1 - This Limited-Edition Monte Carlo Super Sport Pace Car was originally owned by none other than four-time NASCAR Champion Jeff Gordon. A special run of 1,300 copies of the 2001 Pace Car replicas were made by Chevrolet and came equipped with several special features like a race-inspired rear spoiler, 16" diamond-cut cast-aluminum wheels, stainless-steel exhaust tips and two-tone leather interior. Additional standard features include power sunroof, traction control, heated bucket seats, fog lights and a host of additional power accessories. This unique collector car has 305 actual miles (mileage not indicated on the title). It is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine that is paired to automatic transmission. The future NASCAR Hall of Famer even personally signed the rear trunk lid. A terrific piece of NASCAR history.
