Lot #1032 - This is a rare matching-numbers, Powerglide automatic transmission, two-top Convertible Corvette. The exterior is factory black with black coves, black hardtop with red headliner and black convertible soft-top. This car is equipped exactly as it was from the factory. The factory-red interior features the correct signal-seeking Wonder Bar radio, heater, clock and window washer. Prior to 2002, as a survivor it scored 96.4 at two separate NCRS Chapter meets and a 97.0 at an NCRS Regional meet. This car is 96% original. Besides every nut and bolt, triple chrome-plated moldings, the original shocks, springs and axle rebound straps (which were in excellent condition) have been refurbished and reinstalled. Great pain was taken to insure that this car looks as it did in 1960, therefore it is not over-restored. It's original and correct.
