Lot #795 - Listed in the L79 registry, this very rare El Camino is powered by an original matching-numbers 327/350hp engine. It's had the same Burbank, CA, owner for 30 years. This is one of the last L79s to roll off the Fremont, CA, assembly line in late June of 1965 (build date is 06E). Additional features include original dual-snorkel air cleaner, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, 12-bolt posi-traction rear end, power disc brakes and power steering. The interior features two-tone turquoise upholstery, simulated wood wheel, original AM push-button radio, factory tachometer and gauges. With standard wheels and caps, it has beautiful chrome, glass and trim. It also has a highly detailed engine bay and undercarriage. Solid with a pin-straight body and excellent fit, this is refinished in the original Tahitian Turquoise. High quality, ground-up restoration with photos.
