Description
Lot #1299 - This 1969 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air III has undergone a show-quality, rotisserie nut-and-bolt restoration done to extremely high show standards. A genuine factory-produced 1969 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air III, this is one of 697 produced and one of 520 produced with a 4-speed manual transmission. The car is powered by its matching-numbers 400ci Ram Air III engine and matching-numbers Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. This car was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal. The subframe was removed and the entire drivetrain was rebuilt. It features a laser-straight body with great gaps and is finished in its correct color of Cameo White. Careful care was given to make sure that the twin blue stripes were properly placed and tied together with its correct blue bucket-seat interior. Features include power steering and front power disc brakes, front and rear spoilers and Rally wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires. Great attention to detail was given throughout its restoration using as many correct parts as possible right down to its assembly-line markings and part-number decals to its dated plug wires, T-3 headlights and correct hoses and clamps. It's accompanied with all PHS paperwork and PHS Window Sticker documenting its pedigree.
