Description
Lot #647 - This beautiful little Track T is a custom-built Roadster with meticulous attention to detail. It has a fresh-built all-Ford drivetrain including a 302ci engine and C4 automatic transmission. The engine is a mild build with an Edelbrock chromed Performer intake and a Holley 4150 carburetor. The transmission has been completely rebuilt with a chromed bell housing. The rear end on this car is a 1948 Ford car axle with a Halibrand quick-change center assembly that has 2.79 and 3.50 gears detailed and painted to match the car. The front suspension is a 4"drop I-beam axle from Pete and Jakes with Wilwood brakes with 4-piston calipers. The car was entered in the Pomana Grand National Show where it won its class for '23 to '27 modified Roadsters. The car was built with a high level of detail with lots of pieces and parts chromed including both the front and rear axle springs which were all mounted with Teflon liners between the springs. This simple but beautiful interior is done in a nice red color with all Stewart Warner gauges and nice storage under the seat cushion. The custom front headlights have the turn signals built right into the lights. Since completion of this beautiful one-of-a-kind Roadster it has been driven only 2,000 miles. This car was built with reliability and performance in mind making it fun to drive.
