Description
Lot #835 - This 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS comes from a very good private collection. It has been updated to a 327-350 hp L79 engine and 4-speed transmission. All the engine components are properly dated between May 1 and May 16, 1967. However, it is not original nor a numbers matching numbers drivetrain. This car was built at the Chevrolet Willow Run, Michigan assembly plant on May 20, 1967, as a Granada Gold Nova SS (code GG), with a gold bucket seat interior (781). During restoration, this car was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal. The sub frame was removed and the entire drivetrain carefully and meticulous rebuilt. The body was gone over from end to end and the body fit is laser straight and better than new. Once the body was prepared a fresh coat of Granada Gold was applied, using the best of modern paint technology. No stone was left unturned and the interior was also completely redone with nothing but the best of correct materials. All instruments and gauges were checked for operation and repaired or replaced, if necessary.
