Lot #679 - This is one of the 2,535 1975 Hurst Oldsmobile that were built with the Hurst Oldsmobile upgrade which came with Hurst hatch T-tops, Hurst dual-gate shifter, special wheels, padded half-top, gold accent striping, dual sport mirrors and Hurst Oldsmobile badging. 1,293 of the ones built with the 455ci engine were white. White and black were the only colors and no records exist of how many white W30s were built. All 1975 Hurst Oldsmobile were built in Lansing, MI, and shipped over to Hurst for the upgrade. This car has the hard-to-find Hurst Oldsmobile tachometer. It spent its entire life in Arizona until 2014 and the restoration was completed in the Midwest. It has new paint, interior, tires, dual exhaust, as well as a completely rebuilt drivetrain including the motor, automatic transmission and 4.10:1 rear-end. It also has upgraded intake, headers and radio. Suspension parts that were worn have been replaced as well. The air conditioning has been converted to 134A and is frigid. Also, included is the 1997 original Arizona personalized HOLDS license plate.
