Description
Lot #402 - This four-seater Buick features inward facing rear jump seats. Only about 4,569 of these were sold worldwide. This example had a complete 10-year, ground-up restoration between 1984 and 1994, with every major item being rebuilt, restored or replaced with NOS items. In 1998, it was sold to the most recent owner, who drove the car around Beverly Hills for the last 17 years. Some of the many options include an original Sonomatic push-button radio, a deluxe heater and a deluxe clock. Other options include "stream boards" or streamlined running boards that are thinner and fit more snugly to the body. This car also has dual fender side-mount spare wheels with the complete metal tire covers, fender-mount parking lights and turn signals, chrome exhaust turndown and front and rear bumperettes. The classic whitewall radial-wrapped wheels are colored to the car with three red pinstripes separating the Buick hubcaps from the stainless beauty rings. It is powered by the 248ci Buick Dynaflash Straight-8 engine coupled to a 3-speed column shifter. It's finished in Cowl Tag-correct Sequoia Cream with a tan interior, tan convertible top and tan boot.
