Description
Lot #469 - The Z/28 performance package was designed to compete in the SCCA Trans-Am series. It included a solid-lifter 302ci V8 engine, 4-speed manual transmission, power disc brakes and two wide stripes down the hood and trunk lid. This 1969 Z/28 Camaro Re-creation is powered by a DZ302 engine. It has 61,000 original miles. It was restored at some point and resprayed in the correct Fathom Green with white stripes and the green interior was also redone. This car looks great and runs even better. The Hurst shifter is linked to the period-correct Muncie M-22 4-speed transmission. Power is delivered to both rear wheels via a 12-bolt 4.10 rear end. With power steering and power front disc brakes, this Z/28 is very nice to drive.
