Description
Lot #339.1 - The current owner bought this car in 2009 in South Carolina. Roush Racing transported it to Roush Special Vehicles in Livonia, MI, where they repainted and rechromed everything. Roush also installed new carpet, new 8-lug 15" wheels and tires, new gas tank, new suspension and new exhaust. A new 389ci block was bored to 461ci with 425hp and a new 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission was installed with a new 3:90 rear gear. The power steering was tightened up. It has new window seals and a refurbished steering wheel. This car was used by Roush to develop their 8-lug front disc brake system. It was loaned to Roush for many car shows to demonstrate what Roush Special Vehicles could do. The convertible top works correctly. The original 8-lug 14" wheels are included in the sale as well as the PHS paperwork and owner's manual. It has approximately 2,100 miles since restoration. It's been stored in a heated garage under a car cover.
