Description
Lot #1593 - This Mark V Convertible is one of only 2,044 examples produced in 1960. The excellent Baby Blue exterior finish complemented by a power-operated white convertible top and rear fender skirts, accents the impressive dimensions of the Continental. It rides on a set of proper whitewall tires that surround steel wheels with full wheel covers. The handsome original interior contains rich blue upholstery, along with matching blue carpeting and a cockpit-style instrument panel enhanced by an engine-turned insert. Standard features on the Mark V include a 6-way power-adjustable front seat, tinted glass and power vent windows. In addition, this car is fitted with power brakes, power steering, power windows, and a power-operated radio antenna. Mechanically, the Lincoln features a rebuilt 430ci V8 engine that is beautifully detailed and finished to period-correct standards. The automatic transmission has been rebuilt, along with the braking and suspension systems.
