Description
Lot #100 - This Duster is fitted with some very rare Mopar performance options, including Hyper-Pack long Ram 4-barrel intake, header, high-compression head, electronic ignition, 4.88 gears, 8-3/4" rear and manual-shift TorqueFlite transmission. This car was originally built back in the '70s with a ton of performance parts from Mopar's Direct Connection catalog thrown at it; it was a hot street/strip car that would take down most V8s with its little 225ci Slant-6, the ultimate sleeper. Parked 30+ years ago in a garage with its street duty over, the car was recently discovered and underwent a full restoration to its former glory. The drivetrain was rebuilt, the chassis detailed and a new interior. Most notably its color was retained: the Panther Pink paint it wore so proudly back in the day. It also retains its U.S. Indy mags of the same vintage, tach, gauges, racing seats, rear spoiler and a host of other performance goodies. This is one cool period-correct restored hot rod that runs and drives fantastic.
