Description
Lot #407 - This Impala is fresh off a two-year restoration by a local Connecticut car enthusiast. The vehicle has all its original factory sheet metal intact. NOS trim was used throughout, with an A-code Tuxedo Black paint offset by BFGoodrich wide whitewall tires and full-size wheel covers. Under the hood is a showcase 348ci big-block V8 engine topped with triple Rochester double-barrel carburetors. It also features a dual exhaust, 4-speed manual transmission and a 3:70 posi-traction differential. This vehicle represents the highest-demand collectible driveline offered in Impala that model year. The interior is finished in stunning two-tone red and white upholstery, original factory shifter, push-button radio and crossed-flag steering wheel. As a big block model, exterior trim also features crossed flags, small bumper guards and bullet-point taillight lenses. The car is completed with a detailed trunk compartment, including a spare and jack.
