It features a 442 Performance Package (Option L78), 400/350hp 442 Rocket V8 engine, 4-speed transmission, Quadrajet carburetor, ultra-high compression, dual exhaust, extra-thick radiator, heavy-duty front mountings and transmits its power through a heavy-duty driveshaft. Heavy-duty front and rear springs, shock absorbers and stabilizer bars provide a stable ride, superior handling and cornering. It rides on red line nylon-cord tires mounted on heavy-duty wheels with extra-wide rims. This car has a complete history file from new. This '67 Oldsmobile 442 was delivered to Holt Oldsmobile Dealership in Greenville, NC. The original owner had the car for 12 years before selling it. This Oldsmobile spent most of its life in North Carolina and Georgia, where it had a complete restoration in the mid-1990s. In 2005, the car was purchased by the Blackhawk Collection and was part of their display in the Shanghai Auto Museum from 2005 until March 2015.
