Description
Lot #619 - This Mach 1 Resto-Mod comes complete with Marti Report verifying it's an actual Mach 1. It has undergone a complete ground-up rotisserie restoration, along with many modern upgrades. The motor is an aluminum, Teksid block 32-valve fuel-injected DOHC 4.6-liter mated to a Getrag MT82 manual 6- speed. It features power 4-wheel disc brakes. The front suspension was upgraded to Mustang II-style tubular-control arms with adjustable QA1 coilovers. The rear features a triangulated 4-link with QA1 adjustable coilovers. It also comes complete with an aluminum radiator and electric fan to keep the engine cool. It has Ron Francis stand-alone fuel-injection wiring harness and complete new body wire harness. The car rides on American Muscle wheels and Sumitomo tires. It's been lowered to give it a more aggressive stance. The car has a complete new interior, including fold-down rear seat option, custom dash with an Auto Meter 6-gauge assembly, wood-grain steering wheel and push-button start. It has a custom console for the short-throw, 6-speed shifter assembly. It also features new tinted glass, electric parking brake, rear window louvers, rear decklid spoiler and a chin spoiler up front. It has a front-to-back Super Snake flat black stripe, stainless-steel hood pins and wipers. Over 2,500 hours of building went into creating this one-off custom '69 Mach 1. Nothing was left out and the attention to detail is over the top.
