Description
Lot #664 - This is a stunning example of the Prancing Horse's iconic Berlinetta Boxer. The Boxer was Ferrari's first mid-engine supercar. Mounting the Flat-12 amidships was a drastic departure from the traditional F/R layout common to the storied Daytonas, 275s and 250s that had previously comprised Ferrari's road-going stable. The example offered is the later 512 BB model, one of 929 produced between 1976 and 1981. Among other refinements, the 512 showcased a larger "Tipo F102 B" motor, displacing five liters. This car features a 5.0-liter V12 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission.
