Description
Lot #344 - This Ford Roadster Pickup Street Rod is offered by Gas Monkey Garage. It was originally custom-built for LeRoi "Tex" Smith of NHRA and Hot Rod Magazine fame, to name just a few of his accolades. OZ Rods built this extremely well-executed truck "down under" in Australia and it recently finished a complete three-year restoration by Boyd Coddington's cousin, Bill Miller, in 2015. It features a built 1957 DeSoto 331 HEMI breathing through a custom intake utilizing four Stromberg 97 carburetors built by SEMA award-winner Hells Gate Hot Rods. Custom Canyon-colored leather interior complements the PPG Mercedes-Benz Cream paint. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of automotive history that reads like a who's who in the hot rod world. Automatic transmission.
