Lot #677 - Known as the "Mulholland Z," this is a Van Nuys, CA-built Z/28 has been upgraded with 454 big-block Chevy, 17" Compomotive wheels, custom bucket seat interior and console. In the '70s and '80s, Mulholland Drive was the place for the local racers to meet and push their cars to the limit on the twisty road. This car was built to show what it can do there. Restored to its correct look, this Z/28 is an amazing car. The 454 V8 was rebuilt and upgraded with roller rockers, forged pistons, aluminum intake, 9" Ford rear axle and heavy-duty transmission; this car was built to be driven.
