Lot #489 - This Impala convertible is powered by a 348 Tri-Power and is highly optioned with power seat, power windows, power steering, Wonder Bar radio, tissue dispenser, Continental kit, dual antennas and power top. Not many of the 1959 Impala convertibles were made with these options available. It has a nice solid body with older paint in correct Snowcrest white. The original red interior presents itself well. The 348 tripower runs and drives very nice and the transmission works well. It also has all-new wheel cylinders. It rides on new wide whitewall tires with original spinner hubcaps. It features very nice chrome and stainless trim. Stored in a museum collection the last 10 years, it is ready to drive and enjoy.
