Description
Lot #60.1 - This is a beautifully restored Riviera that was saved from the crusher in 2009. The car was restored from the ground up by the Washington state regional coordinator of the Riviera Owner's Association. The car was featured in the ROA magazine in 2010 and again in 2013. Both issues come with the car. Also included are two service manuals and the original owner's guide from Dressler-Waesche Buick, Inc., in Seattle, WA, showing a delivery date of October 10, 1963. This car is a great cruiser, gets lots of looks, and runs and drives like a dream. The car was originally Arctic White and as part of the restoration received a gorgeous Butterscotch paint job. The wheels are 1965 Buick Rallye wheels with Riviera center caps. These are the only obvious deviations from a totally stock restoration. It features a matching-numbers, rebuilt 401ci Nailhead with 345hp and rebuilt twin turbine-drive automatic transmission. It has original leather/vinyl interior with new carpets, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, new dual exhaust, master cylinder, brakes and shocks. The Delco Sonomatic all-transistor radio works great. All chrome, stainless and rubber trim are excellent. It comes with a package of receipts from the restoration.
